What to Wear

When packing for the conference, remember that you are representing N.C. Cooperative Extension and our respective universities. Choose attire that is a step up from your typical well-worn and loved weekend gear. Make sure clothing does not have inappropriate advertisements that are in poor taste.

The default dress code for the conference and all sessions is business casual.

  • Business Casual: Collared shirt (tie optional), polo, Extension-branded attire, sweater, blouse, slacks, khakis, skirt, etc.

Business professional is appropriate for the awards banquet on Tuesday.

  • Business Professional: Suit, sports coat, blazer, slacks, collared shirt (with tie), skirt, dress, jacket, blouse, etc.

View examples of both types of attire (Indeed.com) — NO shorts, t-shirts, jeans, yoga pants, athleisure, flops or weekend casual clothing. Any of the above would look great in a new profile photo you can have made!
